Alberto Mantegna Terre di Sì
Notice

Privacy

This notice is given under articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679. It sets out what personal data I collect, why, how long I keep it, and what you can ask me for at any time.

Who processes your data

The data controller is Alberto Mantegna, photographer, Italian VAT number 15068161007, with a registered office in Rome.

For anything concerning your data you can write to info@mantegnaweddings.com, call +39 334 903 8172, or send a formal communication to the certified address alberto.mantegna@pec.it. I answer personally.

The office is not open to the public and meetings are by appointment: if you need a postal address for a formal notice, ask at any of the contacts above and I will give it to you.

No Data Protection Officer has been appointed, as the activity does not fall within the cases set out in article 37 of the Regulation.

What I collect

What you give me. When you fill in the contact form or write to me: your names, email, phone number, preferred language, the date and place of the wedding, the number of guests, the service you are asking about, and whatever you write in the notes. If we go on to work together, also the details needed for invoicing.

Browsing data. The server hosting this site records, as any server does, IP addresses, access times and browser type. This keeps the site working and defends it against attack; I do not use it to profile anyone.

Photographs and film. Images of a wedding are personal data of the people in them. I process them to carry out the service you have commissioned, and I publish them only on the terms set out below.

Why, and on what legal basis

To reply and prepare a quote. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request, article 6(1)(b). Without these details I cannot answer you.

To carry out the service. Shooting, editing, delivering the gallery. Same basis: the contract between us.

To meet legal obligations. Invoicing and accounting records, under article 6(1)(c).

To publish images in my portfolio. Website, gallery, professional social profiles, promotional material, magazines and industry awards. Legal basis: your consent, article 6(1)(a), given in writing through the release attached to the contract. It is free, it does not affect the service in any way, and you may withdraw it at any time by writing to info@mantegnaweddings.com. Withdrawal applies going forward: I remove the images from my own channels within thirty days, but I cannot recall copies already printed or already published by others.

Who else sees your data

To run this site and my email I rely on the following providers. They process data on my behalf and are appointed as processors under article 28.

  • Porkbun — domain registration and mailbox, so the content of the emails we exchange.
  • Netlify — publishing the site: it keeps server logs, with IP addresses and access times.
  • GitHub — storage for the site's files, including the photographs published in the portfolio.
  • Google Fonts — the typefaces: at present your browser downloads them from Google's servers. See the cookies page.
  • MXToolbox — technical reports on email authentication: they contain server IP addresses and counts, not the content of messages.

Where the service includes them, add my accountant for tax purposes, the second shooter or the professional filming the wedding, and the online gallery service you will download the photographs from.

I do not sell, transfer or exchange data with anyone for third-party marketing.

These providers also hold servers outside the European Union: transfers are made under the safeguards set out in their respective data processing agreements — Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the Commission, or an adequacy decision.

Your rights

At any time you may ask me to give you access to your data, correct it, erase it, restrict its processing, provide it in a machine-readable format, or object to the processing — articles 15 to 22 of the Regulation. Write to info@mantegnaweddings.com and I will answer within one month.

If you believe the processing breaches the Regulation you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome, or take the matter to court.

Photographs of children

Images showing anyone under eighteen are published only with the written consent of whoever holds parental responsibility, collected separately. Without that consent the photographs stay in your private gallery and appear nowhere else.

Guests and other people in the frame

Anyone appearing in a photograph without having signed anything can ask me to take that image down from my public channels by writing to info@mantegnaweddings.com. I do so within thirty days, without asking for a reason.
